B.C. debuted in newspapers on Feb. 17th, 1958. Johnny's birthday was the very next day.
We received a letter this week from a fan asking to see a story-line from many moons ago.
So, in the spirit of "killing two birds" ... we'll celebrate B.C.'s birthday and answer Anita's request by posting this week of strips from 1959!
"I remember a particular running series where Wiley has the hiccups and everyone joins behind him clapping, snapping fingers and stomping feet. He enters a cave and you see *hic* bonk *hic* bonk *hic* bonk *hic* bonk. Is there a way to find those strips? It must have been 30 years ago, at least.
It was so funny. I've always LOVED B.C. and Wizard of Id. And Johnny Hart, especially."
