The "dogs" will be on hiatus for more character and story development.
SOOOO, we will be running a 'best of the dogs'!
Check here everyday for a 'not-so-new' strip!
Here's a few of our favorite fan letters.....

This is my new favorite comic!
Carmen, San Jose, California

Just wondering, how do I see the Dogs of C-Kennel comics that were dated before the first date on the archives?
Please tell me soon, I need my C-Kennel fix!!
P.S. You rock! Your comics are the best!!
Harrison, Kissimmee, Florida

Hi Harrison,
On Creators Syndicate site you can go back further.
On the right, find the 'view by week' pull down menu which goes back to Feb. 11, 2007. It's interesting to see how the strip has evolved over time.
Thanks for reading C-Kennel and for writing!
Peace,
Mick and Mason

I just discovered your strip and I have to tell you that it made me laugh out loud. As the owner of an Alaskan Malamute, I have learned first hand about dog humor. There are times I swear you must know my dog, Mystic.
Thanks for sharing your imagination.
Robin, Eagle Nest, New Mexico

Mystic is a 75lb spayed Alaskan Malamute who adopted a kitty, uncharacteristically, as Malamutes usually eat cats! I thought you might get a kick out of their story.
It began when Miss Kitty decided she wanted to live at our house. Knowing she was going to have to make friends, she started feeding Mystic through her kennel fence at night and in the mornings. Anything from birds, to squirrels. This went on for about 6 weeks. Then she started visiting during the day when Mystic had full run of our five acres (electronically fenced for her protection). Now they are inseparable friends. They can’t be parted without a great deal of emotion. Kitty lets me know when Mystic’s food bowl is empty and in turn, Mystic tells me when Kitty needs to come in. They sleep together with Mystic often holding Kitty like a teddy bear. Here is a snapshot I took of them watching prairie dogs in the field together.
Ever the camera hog, Kitty turned for the shot.bc stone
I love the kennel dogs, and can’t wait for your first bound collection!
Cheers,
Robin

Dogs of C-Kennel is my favorite strip after B.C. I read it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I have to go to our local public library to do so because I don't have access to Internet from my cave! (Actually, I live in a house, but I'm a cave-dweller at heart).
Sincerely,
Paul, Vermilion, Ohio

I love the Dogs of C-Kennel!! They're expressively drawn, each has a distinct, winning personality and they're funny. I love the whole show! I've never seen this strip in any of my local papers; in what part of the USA is it published?
I'm a fan, now!
Phil, Maplewood, New Jersey

Aww, shucks, Phil... thanks! We're hoping you will see it in newspapers real soon!
Peace,
Mick and Mason
