Everyone agrees that the time has come for Mason's name to take the spot which was held by his grandfather for 50 years.
"B.C. by Mastroianni and Hart", the new byline, appeared for the very first time on Sunday morning January 3, 2010 in newspapers worldwide! "Hart" will remain on the byline since both comic strips (the Wizard of Id as well) are owned by Bobby Hart, Johnny's widow. Fans have responded very favorably to Mason's work on B.C., thereby securing him this place of honor.
