We received several letters commenting on the poetic tribute Mason wrote for the inauguration.
We'd like to share them with you. Thank you all for writing! We appreciate your feedback.

Just a comment on Sunday's (1/18/09) BC strip. Wiley's poem--absolutely marvelous! From Rosa Parks to the oval office. Just tremendous!

A Poem by Wiley connecting Rosa Parks and Barak Obama is, for us the most eloquent commentary on Tuesday's momentous occasion that we have read thus far. We are Canadians and we are moved both by the American people's choice for their next President and by your tribute.

Kudo's on your strip for Jan.18, 2009!!! This is the first time I've ever been moved to write to a comic strip's author, but I have been a life-long fan of B.C. The strip entitled "Poem" was a winner! God Bless!

Thanks for the very tender and subtle tribute to Rosa Parks today. I hope everyone "gets" it!

We are now featuring "The Dogs of C Kennel", the comic strip created and written by Mick Mastroianni and illustrated by "B.C." artist, Mason Mastroianni. We have added archives so you can catch up on the characters, the humor and the evolution of the dogs. C Kennel will continue to be featured on the Creators Syndicate web site as a comic strip in development. We hope you will enjoy the antics of Willy, Kenny, Tucker and the rest of the dogs as they make their way in the kennel.
Fans have been asking when we might put together a collection of Johnny's religious B.C. comic strips. Here are a few letters:
I have loved B.C. for years and was sad when Johnny Hart passed away. I still enjoy the comic in the paper, but I really miss the occasional Christian poem or theme, especially at Christmas.
Is there thought of publishing a book with his Christian comics in it?
Thanks,
Sue

Thank you for letting us continue to enjoy these creations.
Can I ask, are there any plans to release a book of Johnny's Christian strips?
I truly hope so.
Blessings,
