As Memorial Day approaches, I will never forget a strip that ran sometime in the 70's, I believe. It was one of those "messages across the water" strips where the message sent to the "unknown" said "Tomorrow is the day we honor our war dead, but we celebrate it on Monday so everyone can have a long weekend".....the tablet comes back and written on it is "You people are really warped" or something to that effect...don't know why, but that one has always stayed with me :)
